June is typically a slow month for online retailers – the big gift-giving holidays are behind us, kids are out of school and, frankly, it’s just too nice to be sitting in front of your computer shopping. That’s what air conditioned malls are for :)
This is the month where a lot of us are looking ahead to the big holiday – Christmas – and creating marketing strategies and what new products we’ll be bringing out, hopefully catching on to the big trends of the season. I’ve got a six page list of ideas for new winter/Christmas pieces that I’m going to start working on later this week. It’s not even officially summer yet and I’m already thinking about late December… oh, the life of a entrepreneur…
One aspect of my business that I don’t promote enough – or even talk about a lot – is custom orders. I’m always open to custom orders – you can contact me either through my Etsy shop to request an order or through the contact form on this website. I love creating new pieces and want to work with you – the customer – to be able to create just what you want. I’ve got a wide range of fabrics and designs on hand, and I will always give you the final say on the choices.
As much as I do like working with my own designs and patterns, it’s always nice to be able to work with someone on a special project, destined to be a gift or a personalized piece for their home.
